About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about maintaining high standards of quality. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our quality assurance efforts by owning and developing test automation. You will work closely with our Software Engineers to comprehend the technical design of applications, ensuring the testability of the components developed. You will be responsible for maintaining our test infrastructure, ensuring it remains easily maintainable and can scale to meet the demands of a rapid continuous integration continuous deployment environment.

Mission:

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, implementing industry best practices, and creating new tools and processes to meet our quality goals. They play a vital role as the primary point of contact for QA aspects of releases, providing QA services, and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.

Capabilities (Key Behaviors):

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will exhibit the following capabilities:

• Comprehensive knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, RDBMS, and MS Office.
• Over 5 years of experience in software test engineering, both in manual and automated testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Hands-on experience with testing REST services, web applications, and mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in test automation tools, ideally including Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with JIRA, Postman, and J Meter.
• Working knowledge of PHP/MySQL.
• Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Results:

In this role, the Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to deliver:

• Successful execution and development of manual and automated test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to validate functionalities and code quality.
• Efficient test strategies implemented and executed across all supported platforms and languages, improving overall quality and test code coverage.
• Development and implementation of frameworks and automated test cases using automation tools.
• Accurate tracking and reporting of testing-related defects and issues, writing effective and thorough bug reports, and verifying bug fixes.
• Adaptability in identifying and deploying automation solutions based on changing project needs.
